I believe women should have a fair crack in the workplace, and I don't think we're quite there yet. There's still a big wage gap, male dominated top levels of business, and by in large, a lot of company cultures that promote the opposite.
I have two little girls, and I believe the problem starts from a young age. They're taught the princess needs to be rescued by the prince. Walk through a department store, and boys toys are science, engineering & tech. Girls toys are fashion, dolls & clothes.
There's a gap, and I want to be part of the conversation to change that.
I'm inspired by young women like Sara Chipps
and her business Jewelbots
. Intelligent women, dominating their niche such as brand storyteller Kindra Hall.
Strong women breaking through gender barriers like Suki Hobson
in the NBA.
Its also the main colour in our businesses, Hypersocial
. That's a pretty cool connection.
