Read this before you book anything
Not for you.
Most of the businesses that ask me about AI shouldn't do it with me. Something in the way they're set up stops them getting on with it. Here's the list.
IT won't let you connect your email.
The entire gain comes from AI seeing your actual work: the inbox, the calendar, the files, the task list. If your IT policy forbids that, you'll get a chatbot that writes nice paragraphs and nothing changes. Come back when the policy changes.
You won't spend $50 a month per person.
A Claude plan is about $30. Voice-to-text is about $16. That's the whole tool budget for most roles. If that's a hard conversation in your business, a $27,000-a-year productivity gain is going to be a harder one.
You want someone to do it for you.
I'll build things with your people, not for them. If what you want is an agency to run your AI, there are plenty. I teach your people to run it themselves.
You want a strategy document.
Sixty pages on your AI roadmap is a way of not starting. I'll give you a one-page plan on day one and we'll have changed it by week three.
Nobody in the business is allowed to change how they work.
Productivity goes up when a person changes their day. If every process is locked down by someone who isn't in the room, the person I'm training can't act on anything. Send the person who can.
Who it is for.
A business where the owner or the office manager can decide on a Tuesday to do things differently on Wednesday. One person to about fifteen, in any industry that isn't on the list above. I'm starting in regional South Australia, where the first workshops are and where I can drive to your office. The people I work with are the ones at a computer: if your business is mostly on the floor or on the tools, it's the office I'm making faster, and in that kind of business the office is usually two or three people. Regional businesses especially, because when you can't hire another person, getting 30% more from the ones you have is the only move left.
Regulated industries aren't ruled out. Financial planning, medical, legal: compliance will decide which tools you can connect and what you can't put into them, and we work on the part of the week outside that line. It's the same as a landscaper who only spends a third of the week at a computer. If that's 30% of your job, that's the 30% we make faster, and it's still worth doing.
